Rocketship Education Looks for Further Growth

Providing your children with a quality education is a very major responsibility. Those that are able to get a good education will have a much better chance of graduating from high school and college and eventually receiving professional success. While most parents know that providing a good education is very valuable, finding a good and affordable education source is often a challenge. For those parents that are looking for a good education option, one great ideal would be to send their kids to a Rocketship Education charter.

Rocketship Education is one of the fastest growing charter school brands in the United States. The idea and concept behind Rocketship Education was first introduced and developed nearly 20 years ago. The founders of the educational program are all former teachers, educators, and parents that were looking for a new way to educate children. While it took nearly ten years for the concept to be fully developed, the organization was able to open its first Rocketship Education branch about ten years ago.

The first Rocketship Education location was opened in Oakland, CA. While the organization started slow, it has continued to grow in recent years. While operating just the one location for nearly five years, the organization slowly grew in other areas of the state and now has other locations that are in other metro areas including Nashville, DC, Milwaukee, and several other places across the country. Furthermore, the organization is looking to grow into new markets.

While many people end up associating charter school programs with other private education programs that are designed for wealthier students, the Rocketship Education program actually caters towards lower-income families. In fact, more than 80% of all of the students across the global platform come from a lower income family and are receiving some level of tuition support.

Overall, the success of Rocketship Education is becoming clear. Now that the first class of the program is in high school, it is clear that the results have been very positive. It appears that the rate of graduation and college attendance will be much higher than the public school options.
